Our Week in Review

Ask your child about his or her favorite part of reading this week. Was it rereading old favorites? Was it looking for words you know? Was it  reading to a stuffed animal? I bet I can guess which was the favorite.

Maybe the favorite was reading with a different kind of buddy:

We worked on patterns in math this week. We also played two new games: Match It and Top It. You might know these games as Memory and War. We used sets of numbers instead of pictures.

Pajama Day was so much fun!

I'm so impressed with all of the readers we have in this class. I'll sign off with more of the students reading to their stuffed animals.What a fun thing to do at home, too!
